Weekly Challenge #48: Dawn to Dres

Last week was the anniversary of the Dawn spacecraft entering orbit around Ceres! To commemorate this mission, recreate it in KSP2 by sending a solar ion-powered probe to Dres!

  • Primary: Capture a probe into orbit around Dres with one or more solar-powered ion engines.

  • Secondary: Make one flyby of Duna on your way to Dres.

  • Jeb: Eject your probe out of Kerbin's sphere of influence with a solid booster upper stage.

  • Val: For extra realism, this ejection burn should be spin-stabilized and not use SAS.
